celebrate ebbs and flows

A new reality
is born on the dancefloor.
Traditional patterns are broken
and selfishness evaporates.
_ Duncan Stutterheim

A good line
or quote.
A great conversation.
That ‘one to watch’ movie.
A song.
Documentary.
Biking a different route.
Walking,
well okay not my favourite,
it works though.
Nature.
Dancing.
In short,
inspiration,
it is everywhere.

I picked this,
very small,
book up by it’s title.
‘Celebrate life’.
The writer,
an intriguiging Dutch entrepreneur.
Massively succesful.

I read it.
Went back to the bookstore.
Bought a couple to gift.

It’s on my shelf.
Looking at me.
His journey,
from a different world.
Inspiration
for life and business.

His story,
of success,
doing good business,
on various levels,
contains deep loss.
Getting up again.
Respect.
Honouring.
Friendship.
Equality.
No one stands alone.
He professed his company,
all in,
heart and soul.
Showing care,
for volunteers,
for water
– he introduced free water
on his music festivals
for doing.

Seeing what everybody sees,
do what no one does.
_ Duncan’s dad.

Celebrate life,
celebrate its ebbs and its flows,
the small things are the big things.
Life,
it’s magic,
use it.
Do.
Dance.

PS.
The spice of life.
I couldn’t work without music.

My favourite playlist
is 15 hours and 4 mins.
It’s messy.
No categories.
Double ones.
It’s missing a lot, still.
It evolves.
Like life.

You can’t dance without music.
